CONTRACTURES DURING PREGNANCY, BREASTFEEDING AND POSTPARTUM

During pregnancy, women are affected by different problems: from the hormone changes affecting their skin, to the fluid retention and the joint and back pain. Nevertheless, when the baby is finally born, different physical problems may arise.

One of them is back pain, which usually happens due to the baby’s weight during the pregnancy period and does not stop after the baby is born.
Nightbra acts to improve your health postural

POSTPARTUM BACK PAIN

The arrival of a baby may be translated into back pain and contractures of the shoulders due to bad positions adopted while breastfeeding the baby, while taking the baby from the crib, while pushing them upwards or while bathing them. To all these situations we must add the weight increase of the breasts.

Contractures, rigidity, muscular tension and neck pain are common to all mothers during breastfeeding. Not only in those who breastfeed their babies, but also to those who bottle-feed them. In order to take good care of your back during postpartum, you must be aware of your own body and avoid bad postures.

A mother picks her baby, at least, once every two hours: to breastfeed them, to change them the diaper, to calm them… Along the day, she squats and stands an average of 24 times a day, with a weight ranging of 3 - 8 kg. This has a direct effect on the mother’s spine.
If there has been no proper physical preparation during pregnancy and, therefore, there is a lack of muscular mass, which adds to a bad posture hygiene, the result will be back pain (particularly around the shoulders, trapezius, neck and lumbar/dorsal areas).

NIGHTBRA HELPS DURING THIS PERIOD

Nightbra tenses our backs, that is, it makes them straight and it makes us be aware of the posture correction we have to adopt. The design of Nightbra distributes the body tensions from the front part through the shoulder and unloads them on the front seams below the breasts; hence, straightening the back and relaxing the dorsal area, where contractures and arthrosis are usually suffered. It has been clinically tested and, thanks to not having cups, it is in direct contact with the ribcage; due to that, it has a direct action on the correction of the posture.

HOW AND WHEN SHOULD WE USE NIGHTBRA DURING THIS PERIOD

During this phase of pregnancy and postpartum, regardless of breastfeeding or not, you should use Nightbra both during daytime and at night.

For that, you should wear Nightbra over your breastfeeding bra (or ordinary bra) and at night, if breastfeeding, wear the breastfeeding bra over it. If you are bottle-feeding your baby, use only Nightbra at night.

In this way, you will not only benefit from its function against back pain, but you will also protect your skin with the antiwrinkle function.
